What happens to my answers?

We keep what you type or say as text, so we can check that this app works. Voice recordings are transcribed and deleted straight away. We never ask for your name, and nothing here is used for research.

If you talk, your voice is streamed to Google Gemini, which holds the conversation and turns what you say into text. We never record it; only the text is kept. If you type, or your phone can't do the spoken chat, your words go to Google Gemini through Ohio State's own model gateway, and any recording is sent to OpenAI to turn into text, then deleted.
